DUNEDIN DINING & FUNCTIONS
The property was established in 1978 on the former site of McGavin Brewery, one of Dunedin’s original and at one time, New Zealand’s largest breweries. The brewery which brewed its last beer in 1958 was re-located to the Speights Brewery in 1971, however to honour the rich history of the site, the stone Oast House (a former malting kiln) was redeveloped as a conference venue suitable for meetings and weddings of up to 50 people. In addition, the larger McGavin Room can host up to 100 people. On those warm evenings choose to dine al fresco or alternatively get cosy inside and enjoy sumptuous dishes at McGavin's Restaurant & Bar.
